The Adco SFS AquaShed, # 290-12252 has actual dimensions of 270" long x 100" wide x 60" tall. To determine proper fitment, measure the length from the back bumper to the front of the box, not including trailer tongue. To determine the height needed, measure sidewall height from the undercarriage to the natural roof line. Please note the attached image. From the specs available to me online, the height is listed as 81 inches but that is measured from the ground, not the needed sidewall... view full answer...
Hey Jonathan, really appreciate all that info, and we can definitely get your Flagstaff 823D set up with a weight distribution hitch. Since your GVWR is just over 3,300 lbs your loaded tongue weight will be in the 400 lb to 450 lb range, and for that I highly recommend a hitch from Fastway:
- Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control # FA94-00-0600
The # FA94-00-0600 is rated for loaded tongue weights between 400 lbs and 600 lbs which is perfect for your Flagstaff. I really... view full answer...
For a wheel pilot hole center cap we have the part # TTWC117CHR which is designed to fit a pilot hole diameter of 2.99 inches like it sounds like you have. The width of this that passes through the wheel hole is 2.99 inches. If you need something slightly smaller you'd want the # AM90113 which fits a pilot hole diameter of 2.80 inches. view full answer...
The Aluminum Hi-Spec Series S5 Trailer Wheel - 13" x 5" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 - Silver # AM22323HWT will work well on your 2008 Flagstaff MAC 228D. You will not need to remove the current lug studs and trade them out. The current ones will work just fine. There are steel inserts in the aluminum wheels so they will keep the lug nuts from coming loose over time. I recommend using the Lionshead Trailer Wheel Lug Nut - 1/2"-20 - Stainless Steel # LHLR103. You may also want the locking set #... view full answer...
If you're meaning a lens, then you could use the Replacement Lens for RVSTL61 and RVST61 Tail light # AST61B which look identical to the OEM taillights, however to be sure you'd need to measure your current lens and compare it to # AST61B.
This lens measures 8 5/8" wide 3 3/16" tall, and 2 1/4" deep and will work directly with the RVSTL61 and RVST61 tail lights.
If you need something different feel free to include some measurements and a photo of what you're looking for and I'd be happy... view full answer...
The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. So since your tongue weight would be near 400 lbs when loaded the Reese weight distribution system part # RP66540 that you referenced would be perfect as this has a tongue weight range of 200-600 lbs.
Then for a hitch ball you'd want the part # A-90. view full answer...
AL-KO was bought out by Dexter Axle years ago, so I recommend the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 8-257-5UC3 if you have a standard spindle or # 8-257-5UC3-EZ if you have a spindle with the built in grease zerk fitting on the end.
As long as your brake magnets and shoes have even wear and are functioning properly, there is no requirement to replace them prior to the manufacturer's recommendation. If either of them have uneven wear, then I recommend replacing them at the same time... view full answer...
You do need to mount the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA on the correct sides, with the left hand assembly going on the driver side and the right hand assembly on the passenger side. Not doing so can significantly affect braking performance, with less stopping power, which can cause numerous different issues.
So you will want to change the assemblies to the correct sides, and I recommend using new mounting hardware, the Mounting Hardware for 10" Brake Assemblies # BRKH10B. view full answer...
The 205/65-15 tires are 25.5 inches in diameter with a width of 8.1 inches and a sidewall height of 5.2 inches. These are not a tire size we can get. My recommendation is the 205/75R14 tires with a diameter of 26.3 inches, width of 8.1 inches and sidewall height of 6.3 inches for a very similar size tire.
I recommend the Kenda Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 14" White Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range D # AM32161. This combination wheel and tire is rated for 2,200 lbs at... view full answer...
While any battery-operated winch will technically work with your folding 2013 Forest River Flagstaff Camper, I recommend a winch that has an in and out function as well as a brake. The in/out function will give you the ease of folding and unfolding your camper, and the brake will make sure that you are safe with the process. I recommend the Superwinch LT3000 winch, # SW1130220 because it has both of these features, and it will also to allow you to hold the camper (instead of simply raising... view full answer...

The type of sway you described is actually caused by the location of the cargo in the trailer and can't be resolved with a weight distribution system. What you need to do is move cargo weight as far forward in the trailer as you can to increase the tongue weight and the sway should stop.
A WD system is great at stopping and preventing sway that occurs from heavy wind gusts but it will not compensate for a cargo loading issue. view full answer...
The 2009 Forest River Flagstaff MAC 208 did not come from the factory with electric brakes as standard equipment. In order to add some you'd likely need the Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-2 and Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # AKHD-545-2-1K for L44643 (1") bearings or part # AKHD-545-2-2K for L44649 ("1.063) bearings. If you don't know which bearings you have you'll need to pop off the hub and measure. In order to complete the swap you'll also need the Trailer Wiring 7-Way... view full answer...
Yes, since we know your 2013 Flagstaff Classic 12 DDST has Tor-Flex 3,500 lb axles the correct lift kit is the part # K71-707-01 that you referenced which will give you a lift of 2-5/8 inches. view full answer...

The Forest River Flagstaff Shamrock uses a Dexter Torflex Torsion Axle so we do have a lift kit but this will be dependent on the axle capacity. The Torflex Lift Kit part # K71-707-02 for 2,300 to 4,000-lb, part # K71-724-02 for 4,100-6,000-lb, and part # K71-725-02 for 5,500-7,000-lb.
The amount of lift for each kit varies but I don't have any way to lift it higher than what's listed. view full answer...
When measuring for a trailer cover you want to measure from the front of the trailer box, not the tongue, to the rear including anything that is attached to the rear. This will include a spare or a ladder at the farthest edge at the rear of the trailer, measure the length, width, and height of the body. If between sizes, it is best to select the larger cover and have some slack.
